Ha. Yeah Ludisia will root readily. Just give it a bit of humidity, like laying over damp sphagnum. A bit of warmth will help too I think.

seems like there are a couple of ways to propagate.

I cut a couple of leafless stems into about 6, 1 1/2in pieces and then laid them flat, half submerged in seedling/fine bark mix. I misted them daily. After 6 weeks - yep it takes that long, I had plantlets start developing, mostly at the ends but some in the middle of each piece. I have grown them on in dappled shade. The new growths are about an inch high now. I will post photos when I can.

I lay the whole plant start in the bag with damp sphagnum and a little soil in the bag. Lay the start on top. It roots in about a month and a half. No tricks to it.

Default L. Discolor

I used to have lots of discolor (until the flood came)
now all I can find online are tiny plants at over priced rates. Any suggestions where to find it cheap?
