Default Yellow Leaf Edges?

Afternoon, all. I have noticed that on several of my 'chids, the outer edges of the leaves are starting to turn bright yellow. I have no idea why. What causes this? We recently moved, so it could be too much light? I moved them down away from the window, but one of them was getting yellow edges before I moved. Otherwise, they seem just fine. So far, it hasn't spread to the tops of the leaves..just the edges.

Is there a particular genus that this is affecting? Or is it happening on more than one? I know that in the past, one of my phrag besseae's had the edges of the leaves turn somewhat of a more yellow color, but then I increased humidity/water and decreased the light intensity slightly, and it seemed to help a little bit- I wonder if it's due to humidity/water loss on finer leaves partially due to too much air movement.

Can you post some pictures?

All I've got is Phals, and they're all NOIDs from Lowes or a grocery store. I'm still new to the hobby. I was wondering if it's perhaps from too much light or something given that it's warming up significantly. I have attached pictures. Pardon the wet, I misted them.

This is interesting! To be honest, I have never seen phals do that before. I think what may be happening is that they may just be getting lots of light and with the increase in temperatures, the leaves themselves may be getting too warm from sun or something like that. Do you have a humidity tray under them? Maybe they are slightly drying out along the edges?

High light plus hot temps would burn the foliage ...

How are you caring for these?

In what way? They were in a west facing window but were getting burned so I moved them off the ledge down onto a bookshelf and they are now receiving their light behind some blinds instead of directly in the light like they were before. I mist them once a day or so, I water every 7-10 days and fertilize at that time. Am I missing something I should be doing??

I don't see a problem. Plants do different things without there being anything wrong. Just watch it and see what happens.

I do not have a humidity tray, I do have an agrometer and the humidity is ~60% and the temps have been around 76-80.

Dry air can cause the edges to yellow, then turn brown. I have a few rainforest plants that get this every winter. However, there can be other causes. Incorrect watering, light, temps, fertilizer (too much) can also have the same results.
