Default OK to move flowering Phal?

I've got a Phal half way in bloom right now and it's pointing directly at the window... which my wife doesn't like... she wants to see the flowers. Now.

... but it seems, in my newbie opinion, that every time I move my orchids, the flowers don't display "properly". They kind of twist themselves towards the change in lighting. (Which is why it's currently pointing at the window). Is there a time, or rule of thumb, on when it's okay to move a plant in this situation?

Thanks!
(couldn't post a pic or link...)

If all the blooms are fully open, and have been for a few days, they won't turn anymore. Buds still growing, the spike itself if it's still growing, will orient and grow towards the light.

You can move the plant away from the window, but if it's ine that continues to bud on existing spike, you might lose that.

the spike grows towards the light so if you move it then the spike just going to move so its facing the light.

I would not move it.

Once the flowers have opened go ahead and move it. Thats what I do. Once they are open they do not move at least on my phals they don't.
