Default need help with a rescue

Hello all,
While I am not completely new to orchids this is my first rescue. I was at my local Trader Joes, as I walked by their tower of orchids, I saw this one. It has new spike starting and new root shoots.now I am sure I need to repot it now. Just thought i would get others opinions who have done this.
Thank you,
Joshua

The roots and leaves look healthy to me

It does look like it needs to be repotted but if the mix is not bad I would wait for it to finish blooming, if the mix is bad I would repot it but you may lose your flowers.

Hope this helps

I agree, its roots look pretty good. It looks like it has some algae or something on the media (I just dealt with this yesterday on a mini guy I picked up). If you can, maybe carefully take him out of his pot and have a look at his roots, maybe loosen up some of that sphag in the middle and then if he looks good and the media isn't too icky, leave him until he's done blooming. Otherwise, as Hannah said, repot but you might lose the current flowers. That said, if he's shooting out a new spike, he might bloom on that one.

Thank you for the quick responses.

So I pulled it out, and ended up repotting it. If I lose the flowers at least I saved the plant.

Personally the ones in those tiny polythene pots I find best to repot straight away. I agree about thinking of the plant's health over the flowers in this sort of case.

Not sure why you're calling it a rescue, it looks pretty healthy to me. Pretty blooms, congrats!
