Question Should I be worried about how these leaves and plants look?

These arrived yesterday. I am a little concerned about the yellowing and spotting of the leaves. Some of the pseudobulbs look pretty shriveled and dehydrated. I removed some of the papery sarongs. Do they look okay to you? Do you think it is normal or should I contact the grower?

Thank you for your help.

They look pretty much like any other orchid I've bought. When a plant comes from a big nursery it's bound to have a little mechanical damage and look a little rough. They can't give the plants individual care like you can. Good luck.

Thank you Tucker. That makes me feel better. Would you treat the ones with yellowing? Do you think it is fungal or bacterial? They are from a smaller greenhouse grower.

I agree with tucker85.

That yellow pseudobulb in the first picture just looks like the oldest one. I saw a dark mark on one psuedo bulb which you might watch but I have had that happen to mine now and then and I can't explain why and it never spreads. In nature they are not perfect either! They look like mature, well established plants.

I just finished re-potting a spotlessly clean and perfect looking Cattleya last night. I left it on my kitchen counter for the night and this morning there is an ugly dark mark at the end of one leaf. It was caused by my cat during the night trying to bite the leaf. That's all it took. Some Cattleya leaves turn brown very quickly where they are bruised or broken. Others not so bad.

Thank you. It makes me feel better. I don't have a lot if experience with Catts and what they should look like. I appreciate your and Tucker's help.

Another question; there was a fast moving tiny bug I noticed in one of the pots and I smooshed it between my fingers and it left red discoloration. It reminded me of blood. Does anyone know what kind of bug that miht be?
