Ordphien- I love the flowers on that! And it also sounds like you got a great combo of small size, great flowers, and great scent too!

It's interesting that there are those "questionable" type moments with Orchids.com- I'm thinking I will try and find whatever I can from other growers who don't have that issue and then if I can't find it elsewhere, then I will take the chance with Norman's.

I do have a Trader Joe's kinda near me, but last time I was in there they only had phals. Now I'm very curious/cautious to find out what my new Tsiku Marguerite smells like- all they had were a few in spike, no blooming to find out the scent :P

I was at Hausermanns last week and was disappointed that most of the oncid alliance plants were sold out. However there were twinkles on special, together with a couple of other minis. Not so easy to find though. You need to ask - Adam is a great help.

Those Twinkles were a bit difficult to find! It took me a while, but in the end, I did find them. But from my understanding, they only had the white varieties when I was there- then I got picky because I have a fair amount of whites in my collection already haha, that's when I saw the Tsiku and looked it up on my phone to have a pink-y type color and it's mini/compact as well!

It's a lovely orchid. I actually bought it from Trader Joe's specifically because my sharry baby was so monstrous. I wanted the same pleasing smell but in my room on a manageable size.

It's best to approach them that way. That's what I do. Normans isn't exactly cheap either.
But sometimes only they have what I want.

On a side note. See if you trader Joe's can get some selection in for you.

I got my dwarf wanna be sharry baby there, as well as several fragrant mini catts, twinkles in 2 colours, an oncidium gold dust (small like a twinkle), and a tsiku marguerite.
As well as another twinkle sized white oncidium that is debated over.
Some say twinkle some say tsiku. But it's pure white with no fragrance. Still cute..

Hmm I will have to try and get around to a Trader Joe's to see if they have anything that I might be able to snatch up!
