I'm afraid I have to disagree about Orchids.com. I've bought a lot of good orchids from them over the last ten years. I've never had any problems.

Tucker, it's interesting to hear that. I hope that some more people can weigh in on Orchids.com, then?
But After going to Hausermann's, I came home with 3 new babies to add to my collection:
-Pot. Burana Beauty 'Burana' (1 sheath in bloom, 1 in bud)
-Onc. Tsiku Marguerite (3.5" pot in spike)
-Burr. Nelly Isler 'Swiss Beauty' (1 spike in bud/now blooming and 1 spike developing)
I love the fragrance of Burana Beauty, although, if I understood it correctly, Nelly Isler is supposed to be fragrant too? I haven't really been able to smell much of anything from the blooms, but I think I am starting to get a tiny bit from the oldest bloom (about a week old). Is this common?
Pictures will be posted when I get a chance

Congratulations on the new orchids. Pot. Burana Beauty is mini-catt or compact catt that's supposed to bloom at least twice a year. I didn't know it was fragrant. I've been starting buy more mini-catts and I have a seedling Burana Beauty.
Flowers generally need to be open for 2-3 days before they develop a fragrance. Often the fragrance is only there for a couple of hours a day. Often in the morning.

A lot of potinaras bloom quite often. I have one that blooms every 2 or 3 months, as soon as it matures a growth it grows buds too. Orchids.com had Onc. Sharry Baby 'Sweet Honey' that's supposed to be a compact clone of Onc. Sharry Baby.

The blooms on the Nelly Isler do take a while before they become fragrant. I think the fragrance is strongest in the morning and early afternoon. The blooms last a long time and remain fragrant. Very nice choices!

I can weigh in on orchids.com.
I have six plants from them, all came in superb health and excellently packaged.
No issues.
Also tested them for virus. Happily all are virus free.

Hmm... then I think I may have to re-evaluate my thoughts of not buying from Orchids.com with these good reviews, or if I do end up buying, I will just have to make sure that I look everything over with a keen eye for any issues.
Tucker- my Burana Beauty is extremely fragrant. It has been cooler here for the past couple of days, but when the growing area got into the 70s in the morning light, the scent would fill the room! I have found that it is fragrant 24/7 with a lessened intensity at night, but still pretty strong. I find it pleasant, but I can't stick my nose right in the bud without being slightly overwhelmed by it. Still a great fragrant catt overall so far though!
Orchidboy- I think I know what you are referring to: Onc. Green Valley Sweet 'Heavenly', they told me it was the compact form of Sharry Baby, but unfortunately it is still too big for my grow space due to an average of 18+" leaf height in addition to the spike... maybe someday I will have enough room for either this compact form or the real Sharry Baby...
Leafmite-Thanks for the info and some of the suggestions! I loved some of the ones that you had suggested in your earlier post, but these were some of the ones that really caught my eye! But who could say no to Nelly Isler??
On a somewhat random note, does anyone know anything about Pot. Susan Fender 'Cinnamon Stick' AM/AOS? *following same line of questioning as the first post of this thread- size, temp, number of blooms, etc.

As someone said earlier the quality can be erratic.
Me and the people around me have had nothing but good experiences with them.
Except once
A friend (who had ordered from them before) received some rather weak looking plants.
They turned out to be virused.
Oddly, same plants that I have which are virus free and robust.
Their costumer service is.... great until something goes wrong.
However... I personally have had nothing but good from them.
I'll second twinkle as a great oncidium. But buy it in bloom if you can. Twinkle can vary alot in scent.
I have three. One smells like a chocolate bar, the other smells like vanilla, and the other smells like cat piss and cupcakes.

I hesitate to suggest this as well but...
Do you have a Trader Joe's near you?
The ones near me frequently get in an oncidium that smells exactly like sharry baby, but on a smaller plant and most importantly smaller flower spikes.
It permeates the whole room with the Hershey bar scent.
The plant itself is around 12" tall.
Flower spikes are literally one third of the size of my sharry baby.
Someone suggested it might be Heaven Scent.
Overall it's around the size of your average intergeneric oncidium.
