Can you rescue wilted flowers?
Default Can you rescue wilted flowers?

Hi all,

I just bought a new phal, was very excited because it was what I was looking for (big white blooms with magenta edges and center)

I had to leave it in my car for a few hours while I was in class. I was nervous about it but life happened and I need to be on time and didn't have the time to swing by my apartment.

When I got back to my car it was hot, and the phal blooms had started to wilt. Is there any way I can get them to perk back up again or am I out of luck?

Thanks

Depending on how bad it got, the flowers might perk back up now that you've got it back into more appropriate conditions, or they might continue to wilt until they fall off. The only thing you can do is try to keep the plant in appropriate conditions. You can't force a recovery. If the flowers do fall off, you'll just have to wait until the plant is ready to bloom again.
