Spilotantha amanda???
Default Spilotantha amanda???

My name is Amanda and I am actually looking for an 'amanda', Spilotantha amanda. I have read about them online, but I really haven't found them. I did find some information on them; the genus Masdevallia was split with Spilotantha in 2006, and many of this genus are not fully accepted in all botanical forms. It is somtimes called Spilotantha amanda. I am really interetested in them, if anyone knows anything, please pm me! THANK YOU!

Amanda--
Try Ecuagenera for the plant that you are interested in; I see it on the website, but it is currently listed as unavailable... you might try e-mailing to see if it is going to be available again soon.

It is also here at Hawaiian Botanicals
http://www.hawaiianbotanicals.com/orchids.html
and here at Orchidscape - Pleurothallids

It's a very 'enchanting' orchid - Masdevallia amanda on Flickr - Photo Sharing!

If you can, post some pictures of your little 'monsters' in the pet forum .. I'd love to see your crested geckos

Ecuagenera will be at the World Orchid Conference in Miami...if they have it and you plan on going to the show, you can pre-order it and they'll bring it with them.
