Since it has a plastic container for drain, I would leave it there until she's done with the flowers. Once she's done, if you want to re-pot then it would be less dramatic for the plant. I was told they can be re-potted every other year. But I'm no expert. I have 4 Orchids, and I'm under 2 years learning from them and others postings. Enjoy.

Personally I leave them until they completely dry up and fall off naturally. The plant can still use the nutrients from them until that point. It will drop them when it's ready.

Alrighty : )

Really enjoying learning about this. I hope I can keep it alive.

Oh, also the leaves are still pretty dark green even though it's sitting next to a window... It looks like a bright enough area for it with no direct sunlight though.

In the evening the sliding glass door gets direct sunlight, should I open the blinds then to let it shine on it for a little while?

It takes weeks to months for the colour of the orchid to adjust to the ambient lighting conditions - once you've put an orchid somewhere, leave it there for a while before changing conditions again.
No need to add any direct sunlight to this plant, phalaenopsis will hate that.

I agree with Discus no need to change anything yet if in a couple of months the leaves do not change then you could move it
