Default Are These Spikes?

I started with 3 Den NOIDs about 6 months ago and I have added 2 phals (from Littlefrog), a Beallara from Ray, and a Macodes Petola. I have converted everything to S/H and the plants seem to be loving it.

I believe I have a spike on the Beallara and am not sure about the Phals. If they are spikes do I need to do anything different to my plants (water, feeding, light).

Thanks

From another S/H grower.

They all look great. It is so much fun watching the spikes develop day by day. Enjoy.
