Moving chids outside, who can have full sun?
Default Moving chids outside, who can have full sun?

This is the 1st year I'm going to have this problem cause I'm moving to a new house. The back yard doesn't get much shade in any of the areas I can put my chids so I'd like to know how many of my babies will tolerate full sun. I know I can bring my cyms out and plop them full sun as I usually just dig a hole for the pot to slip into and let it go for the whole summer, so far this has worked great for me but I have lots of others I'd like to put outside too. Since my shade area is very limited I'm hoping someone can tell me who can have full sun or close to it. This is the list plus a bunch of NOIDs, catts, phals, cyms, bulb, den, onc

I've tried looki g this up and it's actually kinda hard to find cause everyone talks about indoor lighting not outdoor and it doesn't say if more light will be tolerated

With a few days of acclimation to avoid burn, Tolumnias can take the sun.

I wouldn't put any of those in full sun.
Can't you rig something with 60-80% shadecloth to protect them all ?

Do you mean all day full sun? Or are there areas that get direct sun for a few hours?

My cyms take sun all morning - even into afternoon - but they're outside year round and get gradually acclimated to the stronger and longer hours of light.

Most of your others can take some (varying amounts of) direct morning or late afternoon sun if acclimated.

My Cyms take full sun, most of the day... but then the UK is not the hottest of places.
