Thank you for your prompt reply. yes I do let them get light through the see through pot, then at night I put them back in their vase. I did applied peroxide with a Qtip. Whew, I just pray is not rot, and I'm keeping a super close eye on it. It was a Valentine's present from hubby and don't want to loose her. She's Yellow with inside red. I love her and named her Valentina.

Actually, I had a awesome Orchid plant 2 years ago for mother's day and before I gave it away, I re-poted with Miracle Grow for Orchids, and guess what? ... That plant I gave my friend, has been blooming every year and it's the blocks envy since she keeps it outside. ( She lives in Fla) so I'm surprised it has trived that way on that heat and enviroment. But to tell you the truth, I rather buy the bark. Better drainage.

Thank you Bill for your reply. The roots are very firm, that's what puzzled me. Not one is mushy, but that yellow scared me. I do expose them to light often then put them back in the vase. The roots are massive, and that worried me. They seem cram in there. But I decided to put her back in the see tru pot, that way I can monitor.
