Just noticed some white spots on the bark and a couple of roots. Does anyone know what they are?

Ya, thinking some kind of pest, b/c the spots are too perfectly round than mold would be... As for what kind of insect, sorry to say, I have no clue... But it might help if u let everyone know what your growing conditions are (because spider mites, *for example*, like cond. that are hot and dry... So increasing humidity, wetting leaves, and decreasing temps will aid in getting rid of them, along w/ a good miticide) Good luck tho, there are a lot of very knowledgable ppl on this forum, so u are in good hands!

Wouldn't mites move if touched? And after some Google searches it looked like the start of snow mold or mites. But its repotted now so hoping it doesnt come back

Some fungus species grow in decaying wood, and the little balls are their flowers ( carposoma, sporocarp).
