Give it a little time...mine took a couple of days to kick up the fragrance and it was strongest at night or just before nightfall. Also stronger w/higher humidity in the air.
This angraecum is only fragrant at night, in the dark. I was disappointed when my vanda (neo) falcata bloomed for the first time and had no fragrance. Then I heard someone mention that neos are fragrant at night...I went out that night and, um, it was fragrant.
Lots of orchids have certain times of day when they are fragrant, some of mine also have a stronger fragrance just after watering. I have a phal open now which is fragrant in the afternoon. I usually miss as a result.
