Fragrance in many orchids appears when the natural pollinator is around. Angraecum, night only, others similar because of the pollinator is nocturnal & finds the flower/s by the fragrance.

Yey,

It does smell, strongly at them, but only after nightfall.

I am so glad to hear that it is indeed fragrant! I love the brassavolas, vanda falcata, and angraecums because they are fragrant at night when I can really enjoy them.
