Just got this mail order and noticed these brown holes in the pbulb?

What is it? Cause for concern?

I wouldn't worry too much unless they start to get bigger or you get more of them or they start oozing just keep an eye on them.....Jean

The grower probably had an insect that went at it.

thanks. they look old and have not changed since I got it. Just a bit unsightly really.

I looked at my Rossioglossum today and there are several similar holes in an old bulb. I wouldn't worry too much unless they change.
