It doesn't look good to our human eyes. But I would leave the plant in peace and not cut away anything. The plant can repair the damage with a spot of hard dead tissue surrounded by a sharp border.
I would only move the plant to a medium bright place without direct sunlight.

I have moved them back inside where they were before I placed them outside last week, and they seem to be better now, though still kind of sad.
Should I cut the leaf on my small plant that has all of that black all over it? If I leave it will it rot and damage the plant?
