Default would this work to give my orchids enough light?

So it's been kinda bothersome tip have tip keep adjusting my blinds all day to keep the aim from hitting my orchids but keep them lit enough. I have a west facing window that they're set up in and I got a new shelf thing to put them on today. But I was wondering if oh just got a big piece of shade cloth and put it over the window would that be able to give my orchids enough light? The window theyare on gets full sin from about 1-6 o clock and I usually open the blind during the morning and once the sun isn't shining directly on the window in the afternoon to give them most of their light. I'm just wondering if it wouldn't be enough light f or them I have a couple phals, a hawkinsara, a tolumnia, a miltassia, and an oncidium all set up on the shelf.

You will have much better results with a shade cloth to dapple the light a little, as opposed to adjusting the blinds. All of your plants will be fine with a shade cloth over the window. The tolumnia could maybe take more light than the others, but it should adjust nicely.
