When they only cost 60 crowns I could not resist the temptation to buy another Phaleonopsis today at the supermarket, especially one that is bright yellow with purple lip. I am very fond of plants with strong colours. It is in excellent condition with 3 almost opened flowers, at least 10 buds, 6 healthy leaves and lots of fine, strong roots and grown in a bark mixture. The closeup photo does not succeed in showing its vivid yellow colour. In the other photo with the whole plant the colour is more true to life. On Sunday a friend at church is giving me his Phaleonopsis that has stopped blooming. He has forgotten what colour it is but thinks it is a light colour. I look forward to seeing it when it blooms next time. There are so many wonderful colour variations I shall get more Phaleonopsis by and by.
