Hello I am new member of this beautiful community I have two Phalaenopsis. one in bloom at the moment I really love them, they are my babies I noticed something on Phal with bloom, it is on both stems, I would say it is low for new branch, what do you think it is? Thanks for viewing

It is a node where a branch or keiki could develop, but there is no sign it is doing anything.

Welcome to Orchid Board! I think the others are correct, it's a natural part of the stem. Nothing to be concerned about.

Usually branches and keikis come directly out of the node... are you sure these marks haven't always been there?

I doubt it is anything but part of the spike but I'd keep an eye on it and see if you notice any changes
