I too believe you. I know that I check on my plants at least once a day, and I certainly would know if someone pulled a switcheroo on me, so if you say the plant has the same leaf damage, I believe it is the same plant.

Hardly getting a hard time, just getting an honest opinion.

No one is being critical. The science is clear.

I cant do anything more but LOL this and watch my white flowers to see if the turn purple.

If the plant had a tag we wouldnt be having to unsubscribe to your own thread

Im going to try using mental telepathy and mind of matter to turn this one purple

there is no evidence that this is the same plant since you only included the FLOWER in your first post. The current bloom includes pictures of the whole plant.

I just heard of another incidence of a white flower turning purple. This one hair shop has this one orchid they bought white. Now it's purple.

It is very unusual but not unheard of. Most orchids sold today are hybrids and most have many parents through the years. The plant can, for whatever reason, change to one or a combination of the parents in it's background. It is not usual but happens. This can be subtle or very pronounced. This is how the hybridizers got so many beautiful orchids. Not saying that this is what happened but it is possible. Hybridizers grow hundreds or even thousands of plants and select from them plants that have traits that they think might be good.

Also we get peloric flowers which the Japanese relish. Misshapen flowers are coveted by them. I just had a cattleya bloom that had 7 flowers present normally and one was completely upside down. I have had oncids produce a hundred flowers on one inflorescence with some flowers being completely different. Different color combos and shapes. I used to have pics somewhere here with oncid flowers with no lip and a couple with no sepals. As Forrest Gump would say, "it happens."
