I have heard that tomatoes will emit ethylene gas while growing, which will blast your flowers. I really have no idea of that is true or not.

what part of the country or world do you live? tomatoes need full sun or near full sun to do well. can you provide enough light?

Have know idea about the gas Ray mentioned. but I know you can grow indoors as long as you have sufficient light and pollinators, I don't think I would risk my Orchids though. If you do I would be very interested in your results.

If you have a sunny spot outside, you can grow the tomatoes outside of the greenhouse.

I think the ethylene gas is only from the ripening fruits. So the plants themselves won't hurt orchids. But once you actually have tomatoes if you let them ripen on the vine there could be an issue.
