I was rehoming plants and orchids to make room for more but now I really like everything. I am even replacing the mini-pomegranate (another high-light plant!) I gave away as I regretted the loss. Hanging many orchids helped add more room but...there is only so many one can hang without blocking too much light from my light-greedy plants. So, unless I find some other clever way to cram more into the windows, or I need to replace one, I think I have ordered my last new orchid or plant. :0

I ordered one from Mountain Orchids last week and stopped. Bid on two from Ebay this weekend, stopped. Going to my first big show tomorrow. Driving 4 1/2 hours. To look, probably. For the experience, hopefully. Not to buy, necessarily. Although if I do buy it'll likely only be 1 or two. Then I'll stop.

That probably doesn't count. I'm expecting a Ascf. x Neo mid next week.
I want one of those!
I try to stop and I tell myself that I will only buy one at the orchid show in a few weeks.
Yeah right.

Not me...there is always room somewhere for another orchid. Went to Gardenfest in Sunrise Florida today and found 2 more. They just reached out and begged me to take them home.

PS...there is no cure for this addiction, and I for one would not want to know the cure anyway.

It is not difficult to stop buying new orchids - there is nothing to it - I have stopped 11 or 12 times now! As far as having no room - that just means it is time to get a larger apartment with more windows! A day without a new orchid is a waste of 24 hours!

More lighting units are an option. The whole basement isn't full yet. My 55 gal fish tank is going to have orchids in it soon. I lost some fish so I will down size for them.

I don't have any neos yet, but I'm not fond of white, so one of the hybrids with some colour is on my list.
