One more thing about multiflorals (which include the 4 orchids on the top of your list) they need at least 65% humidity.

Tim - it depends, anything between "death" and "disappointing flowers" (which may mean not flowering, short flower life, or short petals etc.), depending on the plant and other growing environment factors. Loooong petals need high humidity to develop and stay "healthy".

I've been swearing that I have enough orchids for days. They need that humidity for at least most of the year like 9 months, but preferably all year. You can use a cool mist humidifier or a steam humidifier. They cost around $20 or get a used one. They work really well during the drier months.

At some point in your realization, you'll begin to creep around your house...inspecting sunshine as it filters through each window. You'll begin to wonder which spare room you can sacrifice to become your oasis of orchid climate. You'll sneak around the outside, imagining which areas would well suit your favorite potted friends. You'll rearrange furniture....and sooner more than later; You will be smitten. It's hopeless....don't waste the energy fighting it.
