Hello pictures of my lovely new orchid in a glass vase. When I water I let stand for ten min and then tilt to release extra water. Today I noticed that there was alot of moisture in the vase, so I decided to remove some of the moss that was tightly packed. The roots seemed good, bright green and did not notice any rotting roots. When I originally bought this orchid it was in a plastic container, when he was re-poted into the vase it did loose 3 unopened blooms, Is this because the stress of re-poting during bloom?
I re-poted into the same vase with less of the moss for better air circulation. My question is if you experts think he looks healthy?
What do you think of keeping him in a glass vase or should I re-pot into a plastic container?
Also I have noticed a bit of yellowing on the edge of one of my leaves, is this normal?
Please refer to the pictures. I am a newbie and would love to become a great keeper and appreciate this forum. Thank you all
