where to buy ghost orchids?

So, i've been wanting to get some ghost orchids, for fairly cheap, i cannot find anything online, or any store that sells them. I've looked at previous posts, i've gone to the sites recommended there but still nothing. I've looked at andy'sorchids.com oakhillnursuries, and orchidsbyhausermen, but still can't seem to find one... does anyone know where to get them I would really appreciate a direct link. I've been looking all over. thanks.

Those sources have them, they're just low on stock so they don't post their availability.

This is an orchid that is not a walk in the park to grow. Should you goof, the plant will let you know in a big way.

It likes high humidity and it grows in areas where the rains are seasonal. Winter dry, summer wet.

Intermediate to warm growing (57 F - 95 F).

Moderate indirect light.

Since Oak Hill has changed owners I don't know what their stock is like, but they should have tons of them. An average size seedling, many years from bloom size has usually costed me about $18. They have had pieces in the past that were twice the size for $25.

Their shipping can be expensive, so it may be better to buy a few plants if that is possible for you.

Give them a call and ask. Since it is show season so it may take a little patience for them to get you one, but I would be very surprised if they could not.

Good luck. Ghosts are not for the faint of heart. Many people have trouble with them. Just expect to not keep all of them alive, so you may want to get a few of them.
