I understand how with Phal's, you snip the stem between the nodes when the flowers are done blooming, but I purchased a Paph at a expo and was wondering what the care is like for them? The flower is still in bloom but I notice that there's like a leaf growing on the stem or something, and I don't want to do anything before I got to learn more about them. I couldn't seem to find anything online about snipping their stems so I came here hoping one of you guys can help.

That is just a sheath. When the flower is done cut the stem. It won't bloom from that growth again.
