Default New growth progress

I wanted to share my first new growth from an oncidium back bulb. I heard they were sometimes difficult to achieve and for me this is my first success, after losing a previous attempt. For some reason my last 3 pbulbs on my Gower Ramsey rotted and I was running out of eyes on the latest mature pbulb, so I was doing a re-pot when the smallest leafless (and probably the first growth) pbulb broke off. So I rigged it up as having no roots and placed it into a pot and placed it in a plastic box. Well maybe a week or two later I noticed some green and now this is it today. I am so happy I also have the rest of the plant consisting of 4 pbulbs all with their leaves still and one of the older pbulbs is also growing a new 1 too. From being so worried I was going to lose the plant completely to today, sometimes orchids surprise you so much. I've posted some pics as to how and what I did. Basically a variation to sphagg and bagg.

This is so nice, congratulations. Unfortunately orchids do it when THEY want to, no matter how hard we try to save them (sphag-n-bag, water culture, prayers, threats etc). They can be so stubborn!
