Dendrobium White Growth??
Thumbs up Dendrobium White Growth??
Hello All. I have had a dendrobium orchid (Denphal) for about 8 months now and it is finally making a new growth.

My question is: Are dendrobium growth white in the beginning?

Mine has a new growth that is coming out next to the older growth, but it is white. It looks like a tube. it is still very small, but pointing upwards.

Any advice will be appreciated.

It sounds like a root to me. With no pics thats what I can tell with the description. Dendrobiums like to send out roots wherever they please. Sounds fine to me!

I agree, it sounds like a root. But a picture would help.

It is too small to focus. I will post it in 2 weeks or so.
