How is your orchid coming along, Hannah?

Mine ended up producing two spikes, one out of each side of the crown. I wasn't fast acting enough to put in stakes and the shoots ended up sticking out to the sides. There wasn't enough flexibility to get them onto a supporting rod, so I just let them be. In the end, I got only 5 flowers (3 on one stalk, 2 on the other), probably because the leaves were too small to provide enough energy.

Anyway, they've fallen off and now the smaller leaf is showing definite signs of shooting forth. Hopefully I'll be able to do the right things to allow it a more healthy growing period for better blooming next cycle.
