I have been thinking of getting the Nelly Isler for the same reason. The only thing is I am afraid of the fragrance being too strong. I had one that is related to it and it was too powerful.

Which one did you have? Always looking for a new fragrant orchid....
Nelly Isler has a pleasant scent like one of my roses but I am not certain how to rate the strength of the fragrance...I don't find it overpowering, though.

Epidendrum radicans
This was my first orchid and it grew like a vine and bloomed prolifically. I would call it an easy, beginner one as most of the epidendrums are considered.

Some orchid fragrances are very light and are nice air fresheners.
