Not always true. Multi-bloomers can take very high light, and need it bloom. where has many of the molttie type get fadded out and become stressed.
Many of the strapped / plain leaves types do better with more light, more or faster growth.

Be careful of letting it dry out too much. Slippers in general like to be moister than most other orchids.

I only have three Paphs (2 mottled leaved and one green strap leaved) and this has been my experience as well. The mottled leaved two are in with the Phals at low light (500-1000 FC.) the green strap leaved one (Paph fairrieanum) is with Cats and Epidendrum ellipticum which get full sun (if it is shining ) and this guy is in bud right now (first time).

I will definitely be careful with the sun factor and watch the watering.

The mottled leaved Paphs need less light than the strap-leaved Paphs.
