I think you should place the plant higher in the pot or else its stem might rot. I also believe that the pot is too big for the size of the Phal and that the medium is too fine. But if it dries quickly or if you know what you're doing, I give up
Lots of people have had problems with Miracle Grow as being too fine for Phals, despite being advertised as being for use with Phals. If its drying quick, not just on the surface but right down at the bottom and in the middle, then you may be ok with it. My Mum grows Phals in a fine mix like this and they do better for her than in the airy mix most recomend... but then she seriously under waters for an airier mix.
They are in a sunny location. The top half of the media dried by the end of the first day.
I didn't water when I transplanted, only moistened the substrate to make it easier to handle. And I haven't watered since. They have perlite & pea gravel mixed in with the spagh.

I fixed the spagh levels for this one, the spagh around it was dried already, but I took it off anyway. But yes, its dried fairly quickly.
