To remove those marks from the cattleya leaves, just put a little bit of milk in a shallow dish, heat it up in the microwave so its hot/warm, and then with the rough side of your kitchen sponge, take some of the hot milk and gently scrub the catt leaves. Then, just wipe them dry with a damp paper towel soaked in water. That always works for me It is just the minerals that are dried on the leaf, no big deal, just gently scrub it off

Thanks the catt looks alot better know that I cleaned it

The trick to dealing with lack of space is to buy only compact/mini plants! You can fit at least twice as much in the same space.

Minis also have the advantage of being easy to smuggle into the house, if you live with someone who doesn't completely approve of your orchid habit! I've managed to get quite a few in, completely unnoticed. Until I got the remark one day "say.... I thought you had less than that??"

Next show is the end of February on MSU's campus, Hannah. You should be ready for a few more additions by then.
