I wanted to have one of these; but before I own any of my orchids; I do research from visits to the City library and some upon surfing the internetnet...there are several variations of these plants.
There is one with bulbs and one without bulbs and a light yellow flower, pink, white, peach and there is even a pink with red spots on the petals....
Ecuagenera has these in seedlings and will sell it in a couple of years while Andy's orchids and Sta. Barbara orchids have these for sale as well....I am looking for a large blooming size since my experience with seedlings make them die in windowsill settings so its best to have them well established and mature....
this plant is sequential bloomer so I think you need to tend to this orchid more, water and feed it instead of waiting for it to bloom every 9 years in situ
