I have both PK and luedde, but I am not quite there yet to even think about making crosses. First have to learn how to keep them alive and blooming

Start trying now, and you can always learn later! They take forever from seed to bloom (3-5 years). So, why wait? This is my theory and I'm sticking to it.

Just youtube it, I'm sure there are some out there. It's not too difficult though. Just pop the pollen cap off, and remove the pollinia from the cap using a toothpick or similar. Then just behind where the pollen cap starts is an opening underneath the flower's column, or "nose" if you will. if you look from underneath, you'll see a part of the nose that is open behind the flower cap. Just put the pollinia on that and push it as far in and towards the front as it'll go. If you're successful, in a day or two that opening will close and the column will swell a little.

Out of curiosity, have u successfully pollinated anything yet Orchideya? If so, it would be cool to see pics of what the flower looks like right after pollination (column swelling, etc... Any other changes) Good luck!
