Lady Slipper orchid growth habit - Advise?
Thumbs up Lady Slipper orchid growth habit - Advise?

Hello fellow orchid growers. I just bought a lady slipper orchid that is in half bloom. It is called Paph Raisin Pie.

I would like to know the Lady Slipper's growth habit and their culture. I noticed a small growth coming out already, but where do the new spikes come out of the lady Slippers? i had a lady slipper before but it has been a while.

Any advise about watering and lighting is also appreciated.

Thanks people.

Paphs are sympodial, and all new growth will appear from the side of the most recent growth(aka fans). It will not flower again from the fan that is currently in bloom. All new spikes will come from the new fans once they mature.
