Visit to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens
Yet another visit, and more pics! Didn't have time to actually label/name everything, so if you need info I might have some names/info/etc. Enjoy!

WOW. You ,my friend, have exposed me to many more desirable orchids. What's the Maxillaria in the photo?
I still wonder how they get those Gongoras to grow so healthily......

I think there were at least two Max species I snapped. An orange one, and a really cool bronze/gray and white one. Not that it matters, as I have no idea on either of them. The orangish one had it's labeled taken over completely by roots. The other didn't have a label. Maybe some Max experts can chime in here.

Great photos, Jarad! Finally got to visit the gardens myself about a month ago, VERY impressive operation. Loved the huge Epi. parkinsonianum you photographed, it's one of my favorite species and seeing the large specimen was very inspiring. The highland room was also amazing. If anyone else is planning a visit, AOS membership or membership with most other bot gardens and arboretums in the US will get you and a guest in for free, just make sure to bring your member card.
Pic #248 is Lycaste, probably macrophylla. #196 is a Maxillaria, maybe sanguinea? And I think #176 is Stenocoryne aureo-fulva or vitellina. Not sure about any of these, though...

275--looks like Lockhartia oerstedii
211/208--Sobralia, maybe bradeorum/warscewiczii or yauaperyensis? Large genus with many cool species...
173--Spathoglottis plicata I think
107--Coelogyne, no idea which one
104--a couple different color forms of Rhynchostylis gigantea
098--Den. goldschmidtianum?
070/052--Dendrochilum, maybe javieri?
049--Dendrobium secundum, stunning!
035--another Dendrochilum, possibly convallariiforme
Can you tell I'm avoiding homework right now? Great pictures, I need to get back there sometime soon!

Nat, thanks so much. I agree with most of your thoughts, and I've updated where I think it fits. A couple I'm still unsure of, but I'll pester the staff the next time they are around. Family membership makes this a free trip every time less about 5 bucks for parking. Hint Hint, Nudge nudge for anyone fairly local (It's $18.95 for normal entry), and membership pays off in 2-3 trips.
