Default Wow

I just wanted to show everyone my Pot. Chief Orange 'Sweet Orange'. When I purchased this orchid it was going out of bloom and I got it because it was a named orchid. I always thought it was ugly, until.....I got it to bloom and it is a beauty. I unfortunately broke I of the 3 buds that it was making, my hubby said thank god I didn't do that rofl. I'm not sure, but I think it has a scent. This is the first bloom it took 2 years just to grow a new pbulb. So I had to post I hope you all like. Here's 2 pics the first is when I originally purchased the plant before the re-pot and the last is today and the beautiful bloom it's made.

It looks great. Have you tried to pot up that root mess? Might get a little more growth if you could give it some more moisture. 2 years for one pbulb seems like a very, very long time.

It doesn't look like that any more. That picture was the first day I purchased it. It was re-potted after that picture. I think it took time to get used to my environment. It has made a tonne of roots since. It took probably 1 yr to grow then bloom from the newest pbulb. Thanks for the replies.

Thanks everyone. I got this at a Garden Supply/Nursery, kind of like a Sheridan Nursery. It's got a really nice scent I've been smelling it all day.
