Chat Room

Happy Holidays everyone!
I went to the Chat area earlier and did not have time to really chat or look at the area it well, but I will be the one to admit it - it looks rather complicated. If someone know how to navigate it easily, could you post directions? I don't use chat rooms and really had no idea if what I was doing was correct.
Any suggestions or input is appreciated.

it's not difficult - the default background and font color usually need to be changed so that everyone can see what you type

the background can be changed by clicking on the "options" button - then, click on the top, on the left drop down menu - the Windows XP background works well ,,,

font color can be changed by clicking on the button just to the right of "options" (by default this will be a white box)

I was at the chat too and I said hi to you white rabbit, but it doesnt seem to appear in the chat.

oh! did you have white, or other very light color for the text? I have a gray background ...
