Help And Advise On Terrarium & Plants

Hi everyone Im new, so please forgive me if ive posted this in the wrong place.

Ive read up on terrariums and i need some help and advise on setting one up and what plants to use? I have a little orchid that kind of followed me home 2 days ago LOL and i was wondering if he could go in a terrarium ?

Ive a little terrarium kind of thing ive popped him in for the time being ( he does look cute lol) out of the way for a bit, untill i can get a real one on the go. One of the flower buds has opened yesterday and it seems ok at the moment.

Ive seen some pictures on here of some and they are stunning. I would LOVE to do one.

Where would i get the plants from? Could being in the uk be a problem? The pictures i saw was from Rollinkansas?
