Merry Christmas and gifts

I had to chuckle when I read these posts. Same for me...not one orchid or orchid-related gift. My family is either saying: "you have too many and we are not going to give you even one more!" or "She is getting picky about this hobby, we will let her buy her own. " I suspect the former. Before the young adults came from far and wide I did have to clear the table in the kitchen of 4 or five orchids so they would have a place to eat while they were home. I do not think they would be understanding about that particular spot having the best light this time of year. Oh well, perhaps when I return the orchids to the nook when the kids return to college/work, they will surprise me with some new growth or a spike.

Ah! Ulterior motives. Still, I think a wife who'd go to the trouble to put together a collection of orchid coins for her husband deserves some recognition!!!!!

Bah humbug... Nothing orchid related in my stockings, lol... But I did get 2 orchids from the OS Christmas dinner (and I bought a few online with Christmas money, but keep that a secret please, lol...).
