Happy B-Day to me. Happy to have another Onc. Alliance. Been getting into them as of late. I read this one is an easy grower but any culture info would be great. How do you grow this one?

Happy Birthday! I have a Colm Wildcat 'Wildcat' It seems to take just regular oncidium care. Orchid Wiz says one parent takes cooler temps and the other takes warmer, so intermediate would be good. I do grow mine cooler in the winter and warmer in the summer because it is in a greenhouse. Don't let the roots stay dry for too long. But because they are fine roots, don't keep them soggy either.

Yes, everyone NEEDS a birthday orchid. I wonder if this one would be a good candidate for S/H?

I have several Colmanara that I grow in S/H and they grow like weeds. In winter I have them in a window with southern exposure and water 2-3 times a week. The RH is usually about 50%. In summer they go outside in a shady spot and I water every other day. I would wait until early spring or until you see new roots starting before moving to S/H.
