Hi all
My Name is Monika and just resently joint Orchidboard
I have grown Orchids for about 8 Yars now. Last Year i got myself an Oerstedella centradenia , i been growing it in a Basket, dunk it in water every Day for about 10 Minutes, it hangs in a Shelf under Lights on an East facing Window. I keep getting new grows all the Time, but my Problem is, once they get to about 4-5 inches they dry out and die.Any one grow these? And how do you grow and get to flower yours?
Any Advice would be welcome
Thank you

This plant can be difficult mounted. They need about 80% H because the leaves are very thin. I to W temps. mid to high light. I would suggest you stop leaving it in the water when you dunk it. Instead dunk it several time for 30 sec. or mist it.

I grow mine mounted. I mist it daily with growing and grow it more I then W. Drier in the winter as long as you have good humidity.
