Default orchid hybrids with the name 'Celeste'?

I've been hunting for orchid plants with the hybrid name or part of as 'Celeste'. It's my daughters name and I'd like to get a few and put them aside in the greenhouse to give to her as her first orchids of her own when she is older. I had thought that given it's derived from celestial, meaning stars, etc, that it would be a name used more often for orchids but they are surprisingly hard to find and then even harder to get a hold of. Anyone know of any, in Australia especially or that can come in a flask from overseas with phyto?

Alternatively, if anyone is hybridising and needs an idea for a really pretty name for a hybrid I can suggest a great one

I love a Google challenge!

18 Grex results in the Orchid Register: The International Orchid Register / RHS Gardening

As for available plants, there is a Cymbidium hybrid variation named Cleo Sherman 'Celeste' at Santa Barbara Orchid Estates. (They currently cannot export but plan to apply for CITES).

Cattleya intermedia var. 'Celeste' seems more available (a few more US vendors).

Possibly a vanda but the references are in Japanese so IDK.

I too am surprised there weren't pages and pages of better results.

Any plant you purchase which is a known seedling and not a mericlone, can be given any cultivar name you wish. Concentrate on buying nice seedlings from any genera you want to grow, and give them the cultivar name of
'Celeste' after you see them bloom. This is not the cross (grex) name but the name of one individual plant among the thousands in that cross.

Have fun,

Cym Ladye

Greengarden:
Currently there is a Cattleya Intermedia v coerulea 'Celeste' that is very hot as it is a HCC/AOS winner.
Also there is Cymbidium 'Celeste', Epicat. 'Celeste', Paphiopedlium 'Celeste' and Vanda 'Celeste' that are mentioned on the Royal Horticulture Society International Orchid Registry site. There are a several ]other crosses with the name 'Celeste' mentioned on the site, but there are also few that I know that may not be registered such as C. warscewiczii 'Celeste', Dpts. Eva's Tundra 'Celeste', SLC. Hazel Boyd 'Red Celeste' and finally a cross that was listed in a 1907 orchid society publication, Ondontoglossum X Beaute 'Celeste'. Check out the C. Intermedia on google images - it's a very pretty crystal white with a purple lip-tip --- it's eye-catching and very impressive.
Hope this helps. You may also go to the International Registry and look around for more!

Thanks very much for the suggestions guys. Unfortunately it seems I can't find any that are available in Australia at this stage . If anyone in their travels comes across a nursery that supplies flasks with phyto to ship to Aus that might suit I'd be grateful for any info.
