Hey everyone.

I am looking for expressions of interest in selling flasks to Australian growers.

Each flask will have 40 plants, and will be $50 - $60 each(That's only $1.25 per plant!). I will have cattleya, dendrobium and mokara (a new vanda hybrid from singapore, grown commercially for flowers).

I will be selling them through an ebay shop (All "buy now" so you dont have to wait for auctions to finish etc)

If you are interested reply with what species you are interested and a colour preference. Almost any standard orchid colours available.

Thanks! Hopefully with enough interest I will be able to supply lots of aussies with reasonably priced, and very genetically strong orchids.

Hi Brad,

I guess one thing to consider when you're choosing what to import/ flask/sell is that what suits growers from one part of Australia may be unsuitable for other parts of Australia because of climate variation. It may be worth selling both warm growers and cool/intermediates. Anyway I'll keep an eye open for your offerings.
Good Luck

Well this is a very old thread, took me a while to locate the date as in out of date.

Not only out out of date but importing flasks into Australia is impossible. Besides, it seems a bit like selling ice to the Antartica with their superior quality in almost all genera!

Well, the OP was Australian. Presumably he was growing these flasks. Odd that no business name was given though; maybe he never got it off the ground.

If people were to contact his local orchid society, to the far right of his username, they might be able to find out what happened with his business.
