Default Cambrai Orchid new spikes

Hi There

Have aquired some Cambrai orchids in pots, about 3 bulbs in each pot. One pot has a bulb which has flowered and has the spike cut back, the other two both have new spikes one is currently 140mm tall and the other is just showing at the base of the bulb.

I would like to know, 1 .When all three have flowered it that it or will they re-flower
2. Do you increase fertilizer feed once the spikes are visible
3. Any idea how tall the flower spike will become.

Many thanks for any replys

Generally, Oncidium alliance don't bloom more than once from any pbulb (tho I think I have heard of it happening) - some are able to get more than one spike on a pbulb, tho they usually appear near the same time - a week or a few weeks apart.

Cambria has become a sort of catch-all name for some of the Oncidium alliance intergeneric hybrids, so probably not possible to know how long the spikes may get. But, there is a well known hybrid, Ondontocidium (I think) Wildcat, that was previously called a Cambria, so perhaps members who grow that can tell you how long spikes on theirs have been.

I fertilize my Oncidium alliance orchids the same year-round (no change after spikes have appeared)
