Default Vanda leaf issues

Hi:

I am new here, but I also have a new Vanda. I live in the Northern Midwest, and it's beginning to get cold and dry up here, but Vandas need 80% humidity. Therefore, since I grow other exotics indoors under growlights, I make sure it has both plenty of light and also is soaked 2x/day. But, it's starting to show splitting leaves (ends) and yellowing in grooves. Please see below for reference photos - if you have any clues please point them out on how to treat. Thanks.

*Note: This is not my first orchid, but also not the first orchid I've grown in this place to show similar signs. The last phal I had died of something similar and it doesn't even need the same amount of light and humidity as the Vanda does.

How do the roots of the vanda look? I would suggest to water more often (just the roots). The pics make it hard to tell what is affecting the leaves but begin with addressing the moisture/humidity needs of the plant. Do you have an orchid tray you can hang your vanda over? If so, tis would be an ideal start to helping the plant. The fact the leaves are still a nice green color I would not assume the worst. If you think this is bacterial you can try some of the commercial products that address bacterial issues or dust the ends of the leaves with cinnamon. Cinnamon can help treat the bacterial issues and poses no harm to the plant. In the cooler climates putting vandas in the bathroom close to the shower can help with adding much needed humidity. This way it receives daily natural moisture in addition to routine misting and watering. Hope this helps, good luck

if you have humidity issues, learn the vase culture. and invest in humidifiers....make sure to give it bright light on south facing window and warmth (80F ....at lerast 65% humidity....try spraying it soaking wet twice a day
tip: do not let it feel the cold or frost (give it tropical heat and brightness.....fertilizer weekly weakly)

vandas can use incredible amounts of light and water when they are in the growing mode. Tried them indoors on several occasions, vase culture, humidifiers etc etc and Im thinking those that are successful indoors dont have air conditioning or live in a sauna and like it 80 degrees and sticky in their homes. Nothin but putting them outside in the sun and hosing them down 3 to 4 times a day is all thats worked for me on my 2 vandas.

Its very difficult to give them the light and moisture they need indoors.
