how many leaves has it got? I wouldn't remove it...I have one that my knocked over and one of its leaves is split has been like this for about 6 months and put out 2 other new leaves but I am not removing it...I believe the plant still needs it, when it no longer does it the leaf will wilt & die... thats my thoughts for what they are worth !

Carrot,
You should post your questions in the beginner's forum or the phal threads...it will be seen by many more people! If you need more help let me know!
Oh and I would not NOT cut off that leaf...you will just have to look past it and in time it will shed itself when the plant no longer needs it. Let me know if you need more help!

I would wait until it dies off naturally - it is alive and serving a purpose.....nurturing the plant and supporting flowering.

I have moved your post to the beginner section. Thanks for the suggestion Candice.
